Children Preschool-High School are welcome to join us for Sunday school every Sunday, 10:45-11:45 AM as we walk through God’s Word together and grow deeper in our relationships with Jesus through time in fellowship.
Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is normally held in June or July for children 5 years old to those who have just completed 5th grade, and is a week filled with exciting activities.
Kids will worship, memorize Scripture, dive into many Bible stories, learn to search for God in their own lives and the community around them, and also participate in games and crafts that further drive home the Truths they get to learn throughout the week.
We do things a little differently here at MPC as we use the LOGOS program. LOGOS invites children from kindergarten through high school to come together each Wednesday evening for Bible lessons, worship, crafts and recreation time, as well as a dinner where the children learn to compassionately serve one another.
Middle school and high school students go through a similar schedule as the younger kids, but they remain within their age groups throughout the night.
LOGOS is held for three Wednesdays in a row with the fourth Wednesday being off, and repeats that pattern for the scheduled year. K-4 activities begin at 5:00p, middle school begins at 5:30p, and high school begins at 6:15p.
This class is held on Sunday afternoons during the school year for 7th grade students or higher who are ready and excited about confirming their faith before their church family. Classes include studying the Bible, memorization of scripture and other important components of faith, and ultimately giving each student a foundation on which they can continue to grow in their faith and share what they have come to believe with others.
Lakeshore Center at Okoboji offers a variety of camps throughout the year for children to participate in. Visit Lakeshore’s page at www.lakeshorecenteratokoboji.org for more information regarding upcoming events for your kids.
The nursery is available to all families with young children during Sunday services (9:30a-10:30a). If you are interested in helping out during a service please contact the church.
